• VP-FAO de Havilland Canada Inc., Downsview, ON. Rolled out 19-Aug-1968. First flight 20-Sep-1968.

• VP-FAO BAS - British Antarctic Survey. Delivered 11-Oct-1968.

Note: The first BAS aircraft to make annual ferry flights from Canada as the Deception base was abandoned. Thereafter until 1969 the aircraft were serviced annually in Canada. It operated from Adelaide Island.

Incident: Table Nunatak, near Cape Agassiz,10-Dec-1968. Forced landing in bad visibility. The aircraft was flown out to Three Slice Nunatak where it was refuelled by HMS Endurance helicopters on 21-Dec-1968.

Note: Glaciological radio echo-sounding flights continued with this aircraft and continued until 1969-1970 season.

• F-BRPC Air Paris, Orly Airport, Paris, France. Regd 20-Aug-1971.

• F-BRPC Air Djibouti, Djibouti. Regd Oct-1975.

Incident: Tadjoura Airport, Djibouti. 17 October 1977. Two gunmen entered an Air Djibouti Twin Otter shortly before the aircraft's planned take-off, shooting the pilot and one passenger. See also c/n 153 & 207. It is not known currently which aircraft was involved.

• F-GHXY Saga Trading. Troyes, France [Soc. Generale de Trading S.A. dba]. Regd 30-Sep-1991.

Incident: 12-Feb-1993 Damaged by attempted arson and repaired.

Incident: 24-Mar-1993 Fire broke out in the cockpit whilst parked at Le Ferte Gaucher. Arson suspected – repaired.

• N40269 Freefall Express, Deland, FL., & later Gardiner, NY. Regd 16-Nov-1993 & 13 Dec-1993.

Airworthiness date: 21-Oct-1994.
